The Tooth Fairy  rated PG
Derek Thompson is 'The Tooth Fairy,' a hard-charging minor league hockey player whose nickname comes from his habit of separating opposing players from their bicuspids. When Derek discourages a youngster's hopes, he's sentenced to one week's hard labor as a real tooth fairy, complete with the requisite tutu, wings and magic wand. At first, Derek "can't handle the tooth" - bumbling and stumbling as he tries to furtively wing his way through strangers' homes...doing what tooth fairies do. But as Derek slowly adapts to his new position, he begins to rediscover his own forgotten dreams

HAMPSTEAD PLAYERS PRESENTS - ALICE IN WONDERLAND
Thursday, August 19, 2010 at 10:30 am

It will be "everyone down the rabbit hole" at Ayer Public Library as Lewis Carroll's immortal classic Alice in Wonderland comes to life as presented by a talented group of performers from the Hampstead Stage Company.

Carroll originally wrote his wonderful story to entertain a young girl, the daughter of family friends. It tells the tale of Alice, whose boredom takes her on a journey of the imagination where she meets a fascinating group of extraordinary characters, including the White Rabbit, a Mad Hatter, the Red and White Queen from a living chess set, plus a talking Cheshire Cat and many other equally entertaining creatures.

The performance is open to children of all ages.

Alice in Wonderland will be presented in the Ayer Community Room.
