New Young Adult Librarian
My name is Samantha Benoit and I am the Young Adult Librarian. I am here specifically for the teens. I can help with not only book recommendations but also homework help, and just advice in general.
A little about myself:
I just graduated college with a degree in History.
I've been working in libraries since I was 15.
I love working with teens, and I love Young Adult fiction.
I am a very avid reader, I have read a least 3/4 of the Young Adult room.
I strongly believe everyone's opinions matter, so let me know what you think. Just send an e-mail to me about anything. Send me some book recommendations, ideas for the Teen Room, programs you'd like to see here, or just to say Hi.

TEEN SUMMER READING 2012
Sign-up for the teen summer reading program. Registration starts on June 21. Win fabulous prizes all summer long for every book you read, (school assignments count). Not Sure What to Read?
Need a good book, but not sure what? There is now a binder of Young Adult book recommendations. Just ask for it at the desk. There of thousands of titles listed, all organized by genre, and series. If you love something that's not in there, let me know and I'll add it in.
Assigned Summer Reading
The library has the list of required summer reading for the Ayer/Shirley High School. We have ordered six of every book on the list, and they will be available as soon as school lets out. Sign up for the Summer Reading Program and win a prize for doing your homework.
New Graphic Novels
The Young Adult Room has been updating it's Graphic Novel collection. We have everything from traditional manga (Naruto, Vampire Knight,etc.) to books made by Marvel and DC comics. Also there are the classics such as Watchman and V for Vendetta. Come check it out.
Non-Fiction HELP!!
