Friends of the Ayer Library

The Friends of the Ayer Library help raise funds for the library. These funds help to support various programming throughout the year. They are a major contributor to the Summer Reading Program, as well as the many performers the library hires for our many programs.
 
Dues for the calendar year are $10. Pay at the front desk or mail checks payable to The Friends of The Ayer Library, 26 East Main Street, Ayer, MA 01432.
 
The group’s current funding comes from the ongoing Book Sale, always open in the library’s basement. Donations of gently used books and DVDs for resale are accepted.
 
A fall sale fund-raiser is planned for September 8, 2018. Native pollinator plants, tulip bulbs, donated arts & crafts, and themed harvest basket raffles will be sold. Anyone who would like to help or donate an item for this event may contact friendsoftheayerlibrary@gmail.com.
 
The public is invited to share ideas at open meetings on Wednesdays, January 17, April 18, July 18, & October 17, 6-8pm at the library.

Book Sale 

The Friends of the Ayer Library sponsor an ongoing book sale located downstairs just off of the Teen Room. All proceeds from this book sale go directly into the Friends Fund and are used to help support the library.
