1. Borrowers must have a valid library
card for which no materials or fines are outstanding. The borrower must have their card
each time they borrow a video cassette or DVD.
2. Borrowers must be at least 18 years of
age to borrow videos or DVDs from the Adult areas. Juvenile card holders may borrow
videos only from the Childrens Library.
3. Up to four video cassettes per person
may be borrowed at one time. The loan period for a video cassette is one
week. If returned late, there is an overdue fee of $1.00 per day per item.
4. Up to four DVDs per HOUSEHOLD may be
borrowed at one time. If returned late, there is an overdue fee of $1.00 per
day per item. The loan period for a DVD is one week with no renewals. If
returned late, there is an overdue fee of $1.00 per day per item.
5. Video cassettes and DVDs should be
returned to the Main Desk. They can be left in the book drop at the borrowers own
risk.
6. Video cassettes can be renewed by
phone unless there is a waiting list. Call (978)-772-8250, ext.0, during library hours.
7. The borrower is responsible for
returning video cassettes and DVDs in good condition. In case of loss, theft or
damage the borrower will be charged the full replacement cost of the item.
8. The Library assumes no responsibility
for damage caused to the borrowers VCR or DVD player by a Library video cassette or
DVD.
9. Copyright laws limit these video
cassettes and DVDs to home viewing only and prohibit their duplication.
10. Keep video cassettes and DVDs in a
cool dry place and avoid storage in direct sunlight or near sources of heat.
11. Please rewind video
cassettes before returning to the Library.
