Disruption of federal funding to libraries forced the reduction of statewide database offerings effective 7/1/25. With federal funding restored, the Massachusetts Board of Library Commissioners is rebuilding its grants program and restoring research databases. In the meantime, thanks to the Boston Public Library, MA residents can access many online resources with a BPL eCard.
