Open Thursday evenings beginning September 1

As we spoke with patrons during our strategic planning process, we learned a lot about your hopes for the Ayer Library. One request that was repeated by many was to add more evening hours.

We know it can be hard for people to get to the Library during work hours. We know our community wants more workshops, lectures, and other evening programs. And we know there’s an increased demand from community groups to have space for their larger meetings and events.

So we’re thrilled to announce that beginning September 1, the Ayer Library will be open Thursday evenings until 8PM.

We’re committed to providing the greatest return we can on your investment in the Ayer Library. And we’re honored to continue working to meet your evolving needs over the years to come. Consider this just one exciting development of many to come.
